If I replace a metal switch (which has the earth wire attached to the earth terminal), with a plastic one, should I simply re-attach the earth wire to the terminal on the metal back box?
Most instructions assume you will replace a plastic switch with a metal one.

Hello,
Nice one for not 'just leaving' it in free air and forgetting about it ml1936 ! as above post reads , what you suggest is the correct thing to do.
I bet you'll even sleeve it in green and yellow ! |

It's best to connect cpc to box and switch, where a metal one is used. __________________ As George Michael once said, "..if you're gonna do it, do it right, right?" |
