5 % vat on energy efficient

I've tried searching the hmce website but ther website is about as confusing as this scheme. Does anybody attully know the ins and outs of this scheme or does anyone attually charge 5% for this type of work. I think most people just charge 17.5% like myself as it is very confusing.

Any info would be great.

BG .have been charging 5% for about 7 years best ask vat man how it works

5% on anything that can make a system more energy efficient. So that's upgrading to fully pumped. Changing to TRV. Installing HE boiler. that sort of thing.

the thing i don't quite understand
say i change a BBU for a condensing boiler. do i charge 5% for the whole job or just the boiler. What im trying to say is is the labour 5% or 17.5%
