Puma 80 CH problems Hot water but No central Heating

When CH is turned on boiler fires up but then it is shut off. The gas pilot light is also turned off. Also a red light comes on with lock out.

Please can anybody help me, its cold

HW work?
Boiling noises on firing up for CH?
If so, maybe the pump.

Dona, did you get an answer to this, I think I have the same problem.
My hw fires up ok, when CH is turned on the boiler fires for a few seconds and then turns off.

Can anyone else provide any suggestions please ?

Boiler is a potterton pum 80 .

make sure there are no dripping hot taps anywhere. sounds like the diverter valve at fault otherwise
