I've a ceramic possibly a plastic monobloc tap. I probably overtightened the right hand side hot water tap this morning. The tap made a very strange noise similar to a waste disposal unit or paper shredder and would'nt turn off. I've turned it off at the stop cock now I need to look at the problem. Though I suspect its just a washer as the cold water side worked fine.
How do I open up the tap to look at the problem ?.
