need to write up an installation for my NVQ and balancing the system is one of the topics.
We installed a Worcester 30CDI and then I tried to 'balance' the system, what ever i adjusted i could not get each individule rad to give me 20degrees diff, so gave up and just slapped my diff thermo on the boilers F&R pipes and got close
77 flow and 63 return but i didnt actually adjust anything, so if it was way out how would i adjust the system for a 20 degree drop (withut resizing rads etc)???
(BTW - boiler connected to existing rads).
and also - is my terminolgy right? - should balancing only be used when referering to adjustemnt of valves to acheive the correct flow at or through heat emitters. and not used when refering to temperature issues
