Just had vaillant 637 and Unistor 260l installed. Pressure is excellent. Finding long delays (40 secs) to get water to bathroom tap as tank is 10 meters away. Pipes are in concrete and water seem is warmish when first opened follwed by cold (from the pipes in concrete) and then hot water. Is there anything that can be done? Also hot water coming out is milky so I guess this means there is air in the water- how is this fixed?

Thanks

Shorten the pipe or replace it with a smaller diameter.

Wait 40 secs for it to clear.

Think about water travelling at ¼metre per second
Then think about moving your tank nearer to your bathroom or vice versa.

More seriously though. there is actually a way to do it but its not considered worth the hassle for most domestic situations and that is to set up a 'Secondary circulation' from your hot water tank. As you state that a lot of your pipes are underground it may not be at all feasible in your case,

Theres 2 types of secondary circulation: - Pumped and Gravity. Without going into it too much, you want gravity as it has no running costs.
It involves setting up an insulated loop of pipework from your cylinder so that there is always some hot water near to your draw off point.
