How do I stick down small areas of old wallpaper, especially around the edges of door frames, skirting board, as well as on the wall. The problem has occured over time and I have just ignored it. Now , I need to rent my property and want it looking its best.

The wallpaper, which is known as blown/textured vinyl, has been painted with plain white emulsion a couple of times and has become less pliable as a result.

You can get little tubes of Seam Adhesive at places that sell wallpaper.

Hi,
go with johnD. Get yourself small brush and work the paste in. Leave it to soak and then use a seam roller to flatten it or failing that a sponge. Hope that helps
