finish coat oil base

I have just finished an out door table and would like to know the best way to put a final coat on this (gloss)

The normal process is knot prime undercoat and gloss...are most of your paints over there water based now?

the paint I have used is a oil base high gloss, what I would like to do is put the final coat on. this will be done after another light sanding to get a smooth finish.
