Roper Washer Machine not draining fully (U.S.A.)

We purchased a Roper single cyle washer about 4 years ago. Recently I've noticed that the clothes are still very wet and damp when the wash is complete. I'm not certain if this is due to the draining cycle or the spin cycle, but I would like to know if there is something that can be done before I'm forced to buy a new one. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions here? Thanks!
