What Boiler?

Hello, i am planning to get my boiler changed, before i appoint a corgi registered engineer, i would like to find out some information...

I have the old system with the tanks upstairs.. is it good to get a combi boiler?

what is a good combi make/boiler for a 2 level, 3 bedroom house?

what is the rough estimate i should pay an engineer to conduct the change over?

How many people live in your house (and might turn on hot taps at the same time?)

Do you have showers or baths?

How many bathrooms/showers in the house?

Would you be annoyed to have no hot water for a few days each time the boiler breaks down?

4 people live there, only 1 bathroom, has a electric shower above bath, we all get up & use bathroom at different times.. hope this helps.. many thanks

Then (apart from Q4) you may be OK with a combi.
