This advice worked great, ever after 2 weeks its back tobeing cold. I took the radiator off, flushed it through replaced the valves. Still no use every few days I have to re peat Elite heats advice I notgice that most my pipes are half inch! but this rad is micro bore?? Could this be the problem...?????

Is it copper or plastic microbore? Do they exit under the floor or go up thru the cavity? Is it twin entry? What size microbore? For example 8mm microbore is reduced as much as half with the adaptor fitted for a rad valve, giving a good living area for sludge!

Copper pipes, fronm under the floor , think its the 8mm because Im almust sure there is an adaptor for the valve.

System needs balancing properly, are all the lockshield valves ( not TRV`s) fully open?

Thanks Bamber, all valves are open,(what are TRV`s?????)
How do I balance the system. We only had a new boiler fitted 8 weeks back. Its a Worcester Bosch boile. Guess I need an idiots guide.

Thermostatic Radiator Valves. Are the valves at the other end fully open? They may have a cap over them to prevent you from fiddling with them after system has been balanced ( if it has, many installers don`t bother).
