Hi peeps, my first DIYNot post:-

I have had to repair the tiled wall above the bath (stud wall/holds shower head). As a result I had to remove ALL the quadrant tiles from around the bath (two sides).

I am now ready to put them back but have a few queries that you may be able to help with:-

1. Use tile cement or silicone sealant to stick them on.
2. Does the cement/sealant get applied to the bat and wall before applying the quadrants OR does it get put onto the quadrant before sticking down (as with a normal tile)?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Are you replacing the quadrants with new OR did you clean the old?
Use tile adhesive & grout..both need to be waterproof.

I'm using new quadrants.

Definitely use tile cement and not silcone caulk?

I used neutral curing silicone  and pressed the quadrants into it .....but that was yonks ago
