Powere shower turns hot and cold

hi i have a power shower and when im showering it seems to keep goin hot and cold... any suggestion to rectify the problem???
does it make any difference if the power shower is connected to the mains? ie socket..

its a salamander pumped shower system.. serial numb 376636.....
