Painting new spindles
Reply with quote Thanks

Hi, Im just having new spindles and newel posts fitted. I have gone for pine, with oak hand rail and base rail. I was thinking of painting the spindles and newels white and leaving the hand rail oak. Can anyone give advice on how is best to paint them to avoid the dreaded drips!!! Or, can anyone suggest a way to varnish them to a darker colour?? Thanks icon_eek.gif
