Anyone know if its possible to repair the blue water pipe which is directly connected to the mains... I caught it whilst cutting through an old kitchen unit!! have turned the water off at the meter.. but was wondering if I could repair it myself without having to call out a plumber

Cheers
Tim

Get down to your local plumbing merchants/DIY store (even B&Q or Wickes) and buy yourself an inline connector for Blue PE pipe, complete with stiffening inserts, should fit in quite nicely.

If its an incoming supply then it will probably be 25mm.
