wiring a loft

i want to wire my loft with a new ring main is that possible? i have got a spare fuse slot in my cu. as i use a lot of eletrical appliances on my excisting ring below, ive feed to cables to the loft which are 2.5mm leading to the consumer unit the lenth of run is 6 meters to the loft.

Yes, it is possible.As it is a new circuit it is notifiable to your local authority building control office, unles it is done by an electrician who is a member of a self-certification scheme and can do the test and documentation himself.
