Re: Halsted finest gold boiler.

Boiler keeps going to safety lockout today, when heating kick in. We are having gale force winds and flue is on exposed wall. Is there a chance the wind is blowing flame out? If so can I buy some kind of cowel?

is it a combi,i thought them halstead were fan flued it should not be the pilot. the only thing ive changed on them was the pump

Fan venturi, air pressure switch and sensing tubes are normally the culprit on the halstead's i,ve come across including one of my own.
Try cleaning the tubes out first with air in a can or just a good blow through.

It almost certainly the fan venturi that needs cleaning (not just blowing down the tubes)

Its a CORGI engineer job so get someone in.

same problem for months switch off then may run for a few hours
now has run for one week after removing circuit board and soldering
all connections to board and all micro switch connections
