Oh blimey, my decorator recommended that I use Tetrion for filling holes in the wall prior to papering - now I see that not many of you like it. Is it really horrid ? What are the main drawbacks with it ?

It's just the same as Polyfilla in my opinion.

Only my opinion, but it's awful. well unless it's changed of course, not used it for years. My old dad used to swear by it, I just used to swear at it.

I hate the stuff too...it takes ages to mix, its course, doesnt rub down that smoothly and it doesnt stay where its put..you can rub it down with your finger.

I think ordinary polyfilla takes a lot of licking.
