Hello,

I have 3 push button dual flush toilets. They all flush fine, but I have to keep the button pressed for the full duration of the flush.
As soon as the button is released, the flushing stops.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan

Is there more than one button?

On some you get a round button which is the "number one" flush, which is a momentary flow.

The second part of the button, which is somtimes a crescent shape around the first button is the "number two" flush. Try pressing both together which should give you a full flush.

There`s 2 buttons all right, but it does`nt matter which you press. The flush action stops as soon as the button is released.

I had a look again. Should the main flush valve component be connected to the float in any way?

The water is about 3/4 to the top.
Thanks.
