My Metal chinmey lid has blown off with the strong winds, and im assuming its best to get it replaced asap to stop water getting into the boiler and causing it to rust. (its an oil heating system)

The lid was attached by 3 metal clips that look like they are rivited togethor. Can you buy a replacement lid or can anyone think of what to get in order to attach the lid back on again! The lid has 2 metal clips, and on the chimney is the other one..

thanks in advance

Well at least post a picture, or look for the number of a flue supplier on the web. The boiler has water in it from the combustion, and many boilers dont have a cap on at all.
