my roofer put the insulation roll on top of the floor board, not between the joist. i can actually walk around on top of the soft insulation material in the loft. pieces of rolls everywhere in my loft at the moment and i am not sure whether it is done properly or not. icon_question.gif

100mm between and 150mm over joists is standard practice.
