is a spark visible inside the boiler. have a look along the lead from the the piezo unit could be shorting out. otherwise could be shorting out on the pilot assembly

i,ve checked the lead it seems ok, cant see a spark but if i keep pressing the ignitor while releaseing the grey button theres a flicker of a flame, so do i need to get some one in to have a look at it?

No, I think you need to learn how to relight your pilot.

Push grey button...ignite it. Hold grey button for further 30 seconds.

Release.

Pilot goes out, try again.

Same happens...get a CORGI engineer.
