I have a Lifestyle lp522 programmer. When the timer turns the heating off the heat keeps coming. When the room stat clicks off the heat keeps coming. If I turn off the heating from the mains and then turn it back on it finally goes off. Sounds like something is sticking somewhere but i'm not sure where to look.
I've had a quick browse around this site and I think I have a sealed system (about 5 yrs old). The boiler is in the loft along with the expansion chamber. I think i have a motorised valve in the airing cupboard which switched between HW and CH. There is also a manual valve/tap which I seem to remember the guy who installed it saying "is used to balance the system".
Any advise gratefully received.
