pumps

If you need to ask such a basic question, then it would be unwise to instruct you to even try, for personal safety reasons if nothing else.

I'd suggest one of two things.

1) buy yourself a DIY book on plumbing and learn the basics. It will stand you in good stead. I'm not being flippant either as even though I'm a fully qualified gas engineer/plumber I still have the little booklets that got me interested. They were 30p each in 1984 from Homebase..and I have one on plumbing and one on central heating. They are a bit outdated now, but still have useful, sometimes amusing info in them.

2) get someone in on this occasion to change the pump..assuming it is the pump.

how do i fit a central heating pump
By following the manufacturer's instructions.
MI's dont tell you how to get the nuts off when they are stuck like pooh
The OP didn't ask how to remove the old nuts, merely how to fit a pump.

You certainly get what you pay for on this forum..thats for sure

On reflection its probably a suspect OP as someone observed.
