worcester 24cdi AAV change

i went to change my aav today (worcester 24cdi), but the replacement i got didnt seam quite right, here are ome pictures to explain:

so whats the deal is there a thread in the copper tube and my new valve is right, or is the valve wrong and i need one one with the tube attached that couples as shown in the last picture?

There's a thread in the tube.

Thanks. I didnt want to go undoing it and finding it wasnt meant to be undone leaving us with a cold house.
