Hopefully someone maybe able to help..
I moved into this house a few months ago and have lots of work ahead of me (but I will only ask questions when I get to that part!!).
I am preparing a couple of rooms to be plastered - the ceiling is currently of a laminate pine nailed (pinned?) through some plasterboard into the joists. I am taking the laminate down (not my cup of tea!) and some nails are very difficult to remove without damaging the plasterboard my question is if I bang the nails in when the ceiling is skimmed will the nails go rusty over time (from the water in the plaster when first applied). Should/can I tape them or paint them or just leave them.
thank you
Andrew
