I\\\'ve tried using nail varnish remover to remove nail varnish from the fabric attached to the bottom of my sofa, but it\\\'s still there - any suggestions? (tried Vanish but this didn\\\'t work). Thanks |

CHECK THE FABRIC TYPE FIRST!!! Acetone can dissolve some man-made fabrics (acetates).
If you use acetone, try not to get it on your skin. It is not particularly toxic (hence its use in nail varnish remover) but in big enough quantities it is not good, not to mention the fire risk if your hands get soaked in it! |
