Is it stopping with the start light flashing?
No heat, check the heater and toc. Other possibilities are the NTC or module (pcb).
The fatty white deposits are just that, fat, you should rinse this off before putting in the dishwasher as it can block the outlets.

Thank you so much
- Is it stopping with the start light flashing? - No, goes through whole cycle as if everything is ok, but if you open the door, the water is tepid.

Could you please explain :
- check the heater and toc - what are these and where can they be found?
- the NTC or module (pcb) - as above, what and where please?

- The fatty white deposits are just that, fat, you should rinse this off before putting in the dishwasher as it can block the outlets - this is appearing even when nothing greasy put into machine...

Your help is much appreciated!

The fat won't go away as it's not heating the water, it will be from previous washes and will be building up.
Quite complicated machines with expensive parts. Heater and NTC are under the cavity in the base of the machine. Module is in the door or if there are two, one in the door and one in the base.
To be honest it'll probably work out more cost effective to get an engineer in to diagnose and repair rather than guessing and throwing parts at it.
