Hi

Have got a problem with timer / clock display has disappeared.

Have no central heating but do have hot water only.
Is there any way to switch central heating on or is the timer / clock the only way it can be switched on???

Is a replacement clock timer the answer or is the reason the clock
display dissapeared a problem elsewhere in the boiler circuit?

Does anyone know the model no. for the Horstmann timer (P458)
and is it easy to fit?

sorry if this is a repeated message as i could not find the previous post i sent??

thanks alistair

not the best clocks in the world you answered your own question model number is p458 :D

i doubt if it works but you could try reseting the clock by holding all the buttons in together for about 5 secs

not the easiest as the surround around them has to come out at an angle bit of a puzzle the first time you do one but doddle the next ?

You just need to follow the instructions for the full service to be carried out every two years. Will need a fga, probably a full set of turbulator baffles and a gasket set and will need a good 4 hours for your first one.

I guess baxi/pot will do this on request. the problem is there 20miles from me & dont want to get sucked into call outs if there problematic. but do a lot of work for the company.(Specialist jo ehh ;) ;) )
