We've recently had a plumber replace the old blue switchmaster box and valve on our central heating system. The radiators were all bled, and everything was working until yesterday. Now, only the upstairs radiators are heating up, and the downstairs ones are cold. We still have hot water.
The pump used to make noise (Grundfos Selectric TR110) but is now silent. We suspect the pump needs to be replaced? If we have some radiators working can it be the pump? Can any one offer advice or other possible causes?

the pump sounds like it's gone to the great scrapyard in the sky

you gould try removing the screw on the front and see if the shaft is turning
