Sime Format 30 HE green and red flashing light

Hi All,

Have the above boiler, it won't fire up, the pressure was low on the dial on the front so increased the pressure to 1.5 but to no avail. Also the green and red light is constantly flashing.

Any ideas what 's the matter

You are meant to keep the pressure topped up all the time. You should not wait until it stops working!

Hopefully you buy more petrol before the car runs out and stops?

The boiler may have overheated and need checking and resetting or a LP switch may be blocked and not be responding to you recent topping up.

You may need a boiler enginer.

Is there a dial on the front with a reset position on it?
If there is; it is often best to hold it in the reset position for 10 or so seconds to ensure a proper reset

Ok managed to get a CORGI out and diagnosed as Ignition PCB, asked for £175 to replace and re-fit, gave it to him.
