I have had a small problem with my boiler, it ran out of oil and I went out and bought two emergency tanks of oil and put them into my storage tank. I then tried to bleed the boiler and can not get any oil through the system. There is a Tiger Loop in the system as well. I have checked all the connections and I can not find any leaks at all. Has anybody any suggestions how to get it going until my oil delivery comes.

Have you tried pressing the reset button a few times?

If you have no oil at all in the deaerator you have a problem, and you have to suck the oil through to the boiler. It wont flow on its own because there is a non return valve which needs a bit of pressure to open it.

This should be a warning for all oil users!

Best get a low level alarm!

Would you advise I wait for the delivery of oil to build up a bit of pressure.

The extra oil is unlikely to give enough pressure.

get some oil. like 100galleons will do.

and depending on wot burner you have got. you can draw the oil into deaerator and wham bam...

so what boiler/burner you got?
