Black Hair Dye On Silicone/Plastic!!
Reply with quote Thanks

I've got black hair dye on a beige rubbery plastic part of my sink, on the silicone lining between the counter and the actual sink. It is extremely visible. I've tried everything to remove it including rubbing alcohol, CLR, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Comet, Fantastic and Vinegar. None of them have even faded the stain. What can I do or use to remove this hideous stain? icon_sad.gif

bleach?!

you could try clorox bleach on the surface. Pour some on and leave it on for a few hours. Or what works for us at the salon when all else fails is to use bleach for hair and a toothbrush. you could buy a cheap bleaching kit at the drug store. mix it up as the package reads and then scrub at it with a toothbrush, let it set and see what happens icon_smile.gif
