I just bought 2 Union valve extension tails to fit a radiator. can anyone tell me how the O ring section should be connected up? Thanks

If it isn't completely obvious, you bought the wrong size. More rad valves are the silly ones with 15mm compression rather than 3/4" union joints now. (where if there's no give in the pipes, you can't get the rad out)
