my heating recently broke down. i have managed to fix it yesterday when i pulled a switch down on my siemens MA-V322C 3 port diverter valve after noticing it was making loud noises.
however i have returned today and found the same noises.
also the switch will not stay down in therecess marked OPEN and instead defaults bavk to the MAN position. i currently have this switch taped to open in order to get the heating working.
is this dangerous? do i need a new valve?
any idea of total cost also would be nice.
thanks Dom

ditto must mean alot to you mate.try changing the three port valve.the noise is coming due to pressure via the pump against the valve.depending on valve you may get away with changing the head of the valve.

Quite so - it's a measure of the clearance between my comment and the top of your head.
