I have a glow worm compact 100e. c/h works fine when I switch hot water tap on it goes to lock out can you help

No obvious single cause! It could be for any one of several reasons.
Its needs diagnostic checks to determine exactly what is happening.
Its most likely to be a blocked DHW plate heat exchanger but that would have got worse over a few weeks and ended up with hot water going hot/cold first.

no problems like that hot and then cold just keeps going to lock out
tried turning the domestic water temperature down on the boiler today water is hot and it does not trip out
