I went to Currys to try and order a new washing machine and the guy said to me that there is no guarantee that they could fit the washine machine because of new legistlation saying the socket must not be behind the washing machine, only above it. Is this true?? Or was he telling me fibs because it was nearly closing time on a sunday evening?? |

I don't think he was telling you fibs as such, just getting a bit confused with regulations. He may have been directed to do this by management. As diyisfun says, if you have an existing washer there will be no problem. |
