Hello All,

I need to buy some radiator temperature valves for my Combi System Central Heating.
Which is best, Liquid or Wax sensor types?
The cost is about the same.

Many thanks,
Alex.

i prefer danfoss valves myself , 30 years in the trade never even thought about wax/liquid choice you must have a lot of time when at work surfing the net

Liquid respond in about 20 min compared with 40 min for wax.

Liquid are more reliable.

Liquid usually cost at least twice wax.

I will go for the liquid sensor, they cost a bit more, but I only need two.

thanks again,
Alex.
