concrete stairs

Can you help with some suggestions of covering concrete stairs? Carpet would be the easiest solution with the unequal tread and turn in the stairs, and with a low head clearance, too much covering has to be taken into consideration. The house consists of tiles and wooden floors, so carpet would not be our preference. Can you help please?

Could try coir, jute or seagrass instead of carpet.
