max weight for flex and c/grip

Does anyone know what the recommended maximum weight of lampshade is, which can be hung from electrical flex & cord grips (e.g. without the need for a chain)?

Yes.

It depends on the flex size.

0.5 - 2kg

0.75 - 3kg

All others - 5kg
