Hi,

I have an old, single fuse box (30A) which I want to replace, currently this is used to supply 1 x 13A twin socket with a fused spur(13A) why I dont know, I\\\'ve got a new free standing cooker so I thought I\\\'d replace this (old) consumer unit with a 2 or 4 way modern consumer unit, allowing me to safely add the cooker - is replacing the consumer unit a DIY job? I am going to also replace all the old style fuses with modern ones. thanks in advance
