What is the difference between Part 1 and Part 2 ball valves? Which valve would typically be used in a high pressure supply CWST or WC Cistern?

This is a college question, right?

Which valve would typically be used in a high pressure supply CWST or WC Cistern?
One has to be of them, the other not . Discuss.

To add salt into the wound a WC would have a part 3 valve icon_lol.gif
