What is the difference between Part 1 and Part 2 ball valves? Which valve would typically be used in a high pressure supply CWST or WC Cistern?

Which valve would typically be used in a high pressure supply CWST or WC Cistern?
One has to be of them, the other not . Discuss.

Nope, a WC can use a part 1!
No requirement for a part 3 anywhere...
