Hi all,

I am having problems with my gravity hot water and pumped central heating system. I removed and replaced some pipework some time ago and since then my hot water has never worked as it once did.

My hot water is poor (to say the least), I have tried a couple of system boils (based on what I've learnt off of here) but these don't seem to have worked. Today I noticed that when I switched off my CH heat to the hot water pipework leading into my cylinder warmed up quite quickly.

I have turned down the speed of my pump from '3' to '1' hoping that this may sort out the matter. I can't say for sure that the pump speed wasn't altered from '1' to '3' after removing the pipework. Does this sound feasible?

did with my old gravityDHW/pumped CH, as it was off a BBU with only 2 tappings used. (28mm flow to cylinder was teed off in 22 for the ch pump).

It will always take longer for the hot water when the cental heating is on anyway.

convert it to fully pumped!

It can if the pumped is interfering with the grav circuit ..maybe a internal spreader from pumped circuit has rotted+ dropped off :?:
