Hi guys great to be here amongst experts.I wonder if anyone of yous could give me some advice?
I have just moved into my house,I've noticed that the radiator thermostat don't work, they are hot all the time even when I put them to the frost position.I know it could be a the pin stuck for some reason but I have never worked on these typ of thermo's before.
They are Drayton type Any advice would be most greatfully recieved.

Thanks for your reply HarrogateGas.They screw on so do I just un-scew them and relace with a new one?Or would I have to drain the system down before I can change them?Much greatful for your advice.

if there are a few to change then yes, a drain down is required, dont forget a bottle of inhibitor when your done.

If they are a current model, you can buy new ones and just unscrew the head part (no need to drain as you are not removing the water valve).

This will only work  if it is the thermostatic heads that are for some reason not working. If it is the lower part with the valve, or a broken pin, then yes, you will have to drain down
