I have just installed a new shower Its a Triton Altair Thrmostatic bar Mixer with a temp control on one end and a flow control on the other end.

On installing the new shower there has been a dramatic reduction in pressure. The new shower just does not seem to \\\"open up\\\" as the old one did. I can only assume that the new shower some how offers mores resistance to the flow of the water than the old one did?

I was thinking that prehaps a manual shower mixer how be better?

Does anyone have any ideas?

does anyone have any ideas on this?

Is the mixer fed from tanks? If so perhaps it's designed for higher pressures.

Its fed from tanks - but pressure was ok with the old mixer shower?

Shower states it will work on pressures as low as 0.1bar

check to see if there aree flow limiters fitted to the shower, these are sometimes fitted for systems where the hot and cold pressures aree unequal
