Papering onto concrete

I have been asked to do a small amount of papering. I am experienced in this area but the walls in question are finished in concrete. I have only ever papered on plaster or plaster board. Is thereany special kind of paste I would use for this surface. The paper is a normal typr paper.

Concrete what the big lumpy stones in it type patio looking concrete or do you mean something else.

Even if you mean rendering...dont..it wont work

Its rendering, I haveto do it for someone though, If it falls off its their problem but I want to do it with the best possible adhesive.

I would go for..a coat over the render with alkali resisting primer...then use a ready mixed 'vinyl over vinyl adhesive
