Hello,
The sink waste pipe from my internal kitchen has a vent running off it which runs up the kitchen wall through the lounge into the bathroom back down the wall and out the building into the downpipe (it's a tenament flat). Can something else be used to vent the sink waste, is it necessary?

You could dispense with the vent pipe altogether if you use an antisyphon trap, or a hepv0 trap. |

Cheers for the responses
Pipe in 40mm (I think), I'll have a look in to the traps, a hepvo just connects in line with the waste right? is there a problem with blockages? |
