light pull wiring

hi all my mom wants me to chage her light pull in the bath room
on the old light pull there are no markings
there is 1 red wire 2 red wires joined together and 4 earth wires
on the new light pull there is l1 l2 and common do you know what wire go\\\'s where

Two red wires to COM

earths . . . . at a guess they connect to an earth terminal.
