This boiler is old and is now leaking intermittantly from the safety valve. There also seems to be a slow but constant loss of pressure this maybe due to the leak but i think it's a seperate matter

This model is getting pretty old now but changing the PRV is a very minor part and until its changed he will not know if there is any other leak.
