I used household bleach to remove a hair dye stain from my counter top, don't know if it would work on wood. |

I tried bleach and a product called Goof Off. Finally, I spot sanded with fine sandpaper on an electric hand sander and and refinished with Polyurethane. The area is a bit lighter than the surrounding floor, but you don't really notice it unless someone points it out to you. |
